Snoop Dogg Announces Release Date For His Dr. Dre-Produced New Album, ‘Missionary’

Snoop Dogg took to Instagram on Wednesday (October 30) to announce the title and release date of his highly-anticipated new album, which is produced entirely by his longtime collaborator Dr. Dre. Snoop’s new record is titled Missionary, and it is set to drop on December 13. The new creative partnership between the two West Coast hip-hop titans marks the first full-length collaboration between Dre and Snoop since the rapper’s chart-topping 1993 debut album, Doggystyle. Snoop’s album announcement features a cheeky promotional video with two Mormon missionaries knocking on a stranger’s door, which is opened by a lingerie-clad woman who angrily exclaims, “What the f**k? Your ad said you were dedicated to missionary work.” Not much is known about the long-awaited album, though back in August, Dre revealed that Sting would be featured on one of the tracks, while Snoop recently let it slip that Jelly Roll would also appear on the record.
