Beyoncé, Blue Ivy, Kendrick Lamar, Doechii Win NAACP Image Awards

Beyoncé, Blue Ivy, Kendrick Lamar, and Doechii were among the winners at the 56th annual NAACP Image Awards. Beyoncé won Outstanding Female Artist and Outstanding Album for Cowboy Carter, while Lamar received the award for Outstanding Song – Hip-Hop/Rap for “Not Like Us.” Doechii was named Outstanding New Artist, two weeks after winning a Grammy for Best Rap Album for Alligator Bites Never Heal. Blue Ivy also took home an award for her character voiceover performance in Mufasa: The Lion King. The two-night virtual awards ceremony also honored Chris Brown, who won Outstanding Male Artist, Samara Joy, Malcolm Washington, and Tamela Mann. The NAACP will hand out its Creative Honors on February 21, with the broadcast of the 2025 NAACP Image Awards ceremony set to air on February 22 on BET and CBS. Dave Chappelle, Kamala Harris, and the Wayans family are among this year’s honorees. (Rolling Stones)
